Facial Rollers and Collagen Masks, effective or illusion?

Hey beauties!

I don’t know about you—but I love experimenting with beauty technology! Especially on a budget ❤️❤️

The other day I went to my local dollar store for some toilet cleaner…fun stuff…but of course I had to pick up a couple of tools to pamper myself with!

In this post I will:

  • Explain the benefits of facial rollers and show you the one I got for just $1!
  • Share the benefits of Collagen

What is a facial roller and what does it do??

A facial roller is a beauty tool for your face. It massages your skin and enhances blood circulation.

Here’s the jade one I got for a dollar at Dollar Tree!

Thoughts after use:

It felt really good across my skin. It did feel like the circulation in my face was more stimulated. Also, it boosted my blood greatly to know that I was giving myself a sort of facial massage.

What is collagen?

My first experience with collagen was when I drank Vita Cup’s beauty tea and coffee-which is infused with the stuff.

Collagen is the main structural protein in the extracellular matrix found in the body’s various connective tissues. Click here to read more about it.

What does a Collagen Mask do?

Dermatologists are saying that typically, collagen doesn’t do much to impact the deep layers of the skin. However, collagen on top can help with moisture—temporarily.

For this reason I probably won’t purchase a collagen mask again. I will stick to my edible collagen, via tea, coffee or supplements.

Thoughts after use:

My skin felt extremely soft after using this collagen mask and the facial roller. I mean softer than it has in a long while!

Did they really do what they promised? I’m not sure to tell you the truth. But these products did boost my mood and make me excited to be taking care of myself. And I’d say that’s well worth $2.00. *wink*

What are your thoughts? Have you ever used a facial roller or do you plan to? How about collagen?

Write a comment below I’d love to hear from you!
