Many of us want more cash; more tangible wealth. Today we’re talking about where it starts…with how you FEEL.
FEELING BROKE means your emotional strength is crushed. It means you feel incomplete, lacking, or useless.
How can we stop feeling this way?
Step 1 PUT YOURSELF TOGETHER.
SERIOUSLY, it’s that easy. Well maybe it’s not easy, but putting yourself together is about first learning who you are. Digging into the many levels of your personality and being.
This may look like getting dressed and physically putting yourself together the way you’d like, or it could mean taking a personality test or testing out a new skill or hobby to see how it suits you.
How do you want to look? What do you want to represent? What would you like to create in this world? Get started on it! Now!
Feeling broke means that you do not feel prosperous, valuable, or rich because you have not begun to experience your own value. So put yourself together so we (and you!) can see what you’ve got.
Step 2 GIVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY TO SOMEONE WHO NEEDS IT
It’s hard to feel broke when you are sharing. This doesn’t have to be cash, either. It can be a blog post just like I’m doing right now, it could be sharing your knowledge, or giving someone a listening ear.
The point of this is to shift the mindset that you have nothing to contribute, because we all have something to contribute as long as we are breathing.
Step 3 CONSTANTLY UPGRADE YOURSELF
I write a little about this here. Strive to continuously get better each day. This doesn’t have to be anything grand, you can do something as simple as start a new habit of stretching for five minutes every morning. If you keep it up over time, it will get easier and within a years time who knows? You may be leading yoga classes!
Above all else, remember that feeling broke is a choice. You don’t have to feel that way about yourself. Start where you are today, and plant seeds that you will enjoy the benefits of in the future.
